Flint-based bath gel specialists Gelicity were surprised and delighted
recently when they picked up one of the top accolades at the Flintshire Business Week Awards.
With such unusual bath products, including children’s bath time
favourite Gelli Baff, the team had high hopes of collecting the
Innovation award at the lavish ceremony at Soughton Hall. When this
award went elsewhere, the team expected to leave empty handed, however,
their evening was far from over and they were thrilled when Gelicity
were named Small Business of the Year 2010.
Gelicity Managing Director, Paul Morris, puts the company’s award success down to thriving exports of their unique bath products, with over 1.2million units shipped overseas in the last year. “We’re proudly flying the flag for Flintshire and Wales all over the world, with the Welsh Dragon proudly displayed on all our Gelli Baff and G-Spa products.”
The awards were a welcome break from the frantic run up to Christmas as the team work flat out to meet the demand for fun bath gifts for kids from Gelli Baff and special bath gifts for adults from their G-Spa Skin Care Products range.
The team would like to thank Kate Catherall from Flintshire county council
for her support and hard work setting up a fantastic awards night.
